Never A Dull Moment

Well, I'm here to tell you the title of this post says it all. Life with Abby (my imaginative, incredibly bright and soon to be 3 year old preschooler) is NEVER boring. Every day proves she not only is sweet, considerate, bright, energetic, polite and funny, but that her imagination is in overdrive. I'm constantly getting corrected by her beause I can never seem to keep track of who she is from one minute to the next. Nor can I remember the character title she has assigned to me. This is her favorite: "You be Ruby, I be Max". Other favorites of hers are Dora & Boots, Diego & Louisa, Linny & Ming Ming or Ali & Moco, our cats. She also likes for me to be Abby & she is Mommy, not to mention the times she is dog, cat, frog, bunny rabbit or a tiger. Guy also gets to be in on the fun, usually as Daddy Max or Daddy Diego. She is continually coming up with ways to put her own little spin on things. As Abby, Max or whoever, she loves playing hide & seek, tea party, 'monkey on your back', making jewelry, talking on her phone or being on the computer. She is constantly entertaining us with her imagination and cleverness, coming up with all kinds of 'you had to be there' moments. One that is sticking out in my mind was something that she said a few days ago. She was in the bathtub and decided she needed to go pee pee. I got her out, wrapped a towel around her, and put her on the potty. "I'm cold" she said. A split second later she says, "Ooh, but I have warm pee pee".

Abby is my pride and joy, I think the sun rises & sets in her & it's been rumored I take too many pictures, so I have a bunch to share. BUT, I'm still having trouble with the website I use to make slideshows, so I'll catch you all up on pictures when Guy fixes it, because I give up. My love to you all!!

  1. I couldn't agree with you more. She is definately ALL of those things you described! I know she rubbed off on Carson because he is more imaginative just being around her. :) We love and miss you so very much!
